Gulab Jamun

Serves: 6–8
Ingredients:
- 1 cup khoya (milk solids)
- 2 tbsp maida (all-purpose flour)
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp milk (as needed)
- Oil or ghee for frying
- Syrup: 1½ cups water + 1 cup Melvia Monk Fruit Sweetener + 2 cardamom pods + a few saffron strands
Method:
- Mix khoya, flour, and baking soda; knead into a smooth dough with milk.
- Shape into small balls.
- Fry on low heat until golden.
- Prepare syrup: simmer water with sweetener, cardamom, and saffron for 8–10 minutes.
- Soak the fried jamuns in warm syrup for 2–3 hours before serving.
